I recently stayed at Hostel Fair And Square for a few nights during my trip. The newly renovated hostel had excellent facilities, including a spacious common area-kitchen where guests could cook complete meals. They provided all the necessary kitchen supplies and even had two refrigerators available for guests. The hostel staff were incredibly open and friendly, making me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. My single/double room with a private bathroom was cozy and comfortable, with all the necessary amenities provided. Despite a little dust, the room was clean and even had a new bedding set, which is rare for a hostel. it was a great value for the price and I definitely recommend this place.
Totally recommend this place.

Loved the common areas with the toaster, barbecue, and air conditioning - perfect for making a toast in the heat! And the airport being 16 km away was just a delightful bonus to my stay!
Who needs privacy or decent sleep anyway? The walls were paper thin and I could hear every single snore and conversation from my dorm mates.

Fair And Square is a great place to stay with amazing personnel, like Mimi. They are always helpful and willing to give advice, as well as serve up a cold beer. the location is convenient, with the city center just a 40-minute walk away. the hostel is also close to a delicious burek pekara, markets, and the bus station. the rooms are comfortable, super clean, and each has its own bathroom. There is a separate common room with a kitchen and places to chat, which helps reduce noise in the rooms. The hostel also provides air conditioning, which is a lifesaver in the hot weather. Cons: Everything great 😊.

This hostel is absolutely awesome! The atmosphere is amazing, and the staff members are incredibly helpful and friendly. The rooms are clean and comfortable, with big beds that ensure a good night's sleep. The bathrooms are spacious, with hot water and great water pressure at any time of the day. I also loved the outdoor seating area, where I could enjoy my morning coffee. The industrial design of the hostel is really cool too!
The breakfast, which was a bit basic, consisting only of bread and jam. However, considering the affordable price of the stay, it was not a big issue.

Friendly and helpful staff, especially Teo, who went above and beyond to assist us. The private room was clean, comfortable, and had a fully equipped bathroom. The air conditioning was a lifesaver in the heat. The common area and outdoor space were great for socializing. The location, though not central, was easily accessible by bus or a short walk. I highly recommend this hostel for a pleasant stay in the city.

We had a fantastic stay at this hostel. The atmosphere was friendly and welcoming, and the staff went out of their way to make us feel at home. The common area and kitchen were spacious and well-equipped, and we enjoyed spending time there. The DIY aesthetic added a unique touch to the place, and the big yard with chairs and tables was a great spot to unwind. The rooms were comfortable, and we appreciated the air conditioning. The location, although not central, had easy access to transportation and plenty of amenities nearby. we highly recommend this hostel for a memorable stay.

The place was spotless and had a modern and visually appealing design. I appreciated the helpful and friendly staff, who provided excellent communication. the shared kitchen was well-equipped and convenient, and I also enjoyed the additional amenity of having a cute pet around.
The lack of soundproofing in the room and the absence of air conditioning were disappointing, especially after a long drive. the shared kitchen and common seating area felt crowded and insufficient for the number of guests, making it difficult to find a place to sit.

The room was just like on the photos, which was a pleasant surprise. We received a small breakfast, which was unexpected but appreciated. The staff was friendly and helpful.
The door of the room was quite thin, so we could hear all the noise from the corridor. The bathroom was located over the corridor and did not have a window, resulting in high humidity.
